Frequently asked questions
Questions and answers
- How long does a new site take?
- From receiving your content, expect the first draft within 5+ working days. After one round of feedback, we'll aim to go live shortly after.
- How do edits work?
- All plans include 2 small content edits per year. Additional edits are charged at £25 each. Simply email your request and we'll complete it within 2–5 working days.
- What counts as an edit?
- A small edit is a minor text change, image swap, or similar update that takes under 15 minutes. Larger changes such as new pages, layout alterations, or feature additions are quoted separately.
- Do you do ecommerce?
- No. We focus on brochure-style websites for service businesses. If you need online payments or a shop, we're happy to recommend other providers.
- Can I cancel?
- There's a 12-month minimum term. After that, your plan rolls monthly and you can cancel with 30 days' notice. If you simply cancel, the site is taken offline. If you want your domain or files transferred, there's a £150 admin fee.
- Who owns the domain and content?
- You retain ownership of all your content and imagery. Domains are registered in your name where possible, and can be transferred to you on request. A £150 administration fee applies for domain/DNS/data transfer. The website code remains our property unless otherwise agreed.
- What happens if I want to move away?
- If you wish to transfer your domain and any data to another provider, we charge a £150 admin fee to cover the handover work. If you simply cancel without requiring a transfer, there's no fee.
- Do you offer same-day changes?
- No. All changes are completed within 2–5 working days. We don't offer urgent or same-day turnarounds, even on higher-tier plans.
